Privacy policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
This policy covers the Orrix app for iPhone and Android. Orrix does not ask you to create an account.
What stays on your device
The chart is stored on the phone. That includes:
- Your date of birth
- Your first name, and a full name if you add one
- Role, money move, brands you chose, and the reason you opened the app, if you set them
- Whether premium is on, and how many Ask replies you have used today
- A random identifier created on the device
Deleting the app deletes this information from the device.
Usage data
Orrix uses Mixpanel to record each onboarding step you reach, the button that moves you forward, and when a day reading appears. We may send:
- The random identifier, the platform, and the app version
- That onboarding finished, and the intent you picked if you picked one
- The personal-day number on a reading, and that the reading was shown during onboarding
- After onboarding: display name when it is not still “You”, role, money move, onboarding intent, and whether the plan is free or premium
We do not send your birthdate, full name, or email address to Mixpanel. IP geolocation is off. To ask us to delete usage data already sent, email hello@orrix.app.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google through Superwall. Superwall receives the random identifier, whether a subscription is active, and, after onboarding, your display name when it is not still “You”, plus role, money move, and onboarding intent. Card details stay with Apple or Google. We never receive them.
Ask
Ask is answered on your device from your chart. Your question and birthdate are not sent to a server. If a later version sends questions to a model, this policy will change before that version ships.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your birthdate for advertising.
Children
Orrix is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
Updates to this policy are posted on this page, and the date above changes with them.
